Black grip for GSG 1911-22..where?

Where can I find a black rubber grip for my new GSG 1911-22?
I'm looking for something that will fit without having to do any modifications.
I've seen a few people use any 1911 compatible grips but in some cases certain modifications had to be made to install it.

That's exactly what I'm looking for! Where did you get it? Can you give me the specifics so I can order the same! Did you have to change anything on the grip to make it fit or did it work without any modifications...screws etc...?

I searched on the Pachmayr website and couldn't find the grip you have pictured for the 1911....the specific model number would be greatly appreciated.

And yes...I meant GSG...I changed that.
 
damn I might just go and buy that gun, and then a 9mm 1911 to join my .45, then my 1911 collection will be complete hehe

The grips on my gun are Pachmayr Colt 1911 grips Part # GM 45G
I picked them up at the local gunshop. I will check and see if they have another set and let you know.

They went right on the gun with no mods or problems what so ever. I think they feel a lot nicer then the original ones as well.

Complete? Hardly, all you will be doing is letting them establish a firm grip on your wallet, all your waking thoughts, and your future. Its not a bad thing, just don't fight it.

right after I posted I knew this response will come, I love the 1911 platform but how many can I have/shoot at once :)
 
Sorry, a voice of reason has no place in a discussion of how many 1911s is enough. Kicking myself for sitting on the fence about a Gold Cup that was for sale this week in the ee.

As for the grips, I like the S&W rubber grips more than the wraparound style. I've also got a set of black uncle mike's, which I find grippier than the S&W, although they are a bit thicker. Big mitts though, so its not really a problem.

Yes, any 1911 grips will fit, but the screws are not interchangeable. I also wanted black grips for mine...with a twist :)
