Black Hills Ammo in Canada

Milarm distributes BH ammo, might want to check with Epps as well as they seem to have everything you could imagine.

I tried contacting Milarm about this ammo....Gord is the guy I spoke with (I think). He didn't knwo what it was and when I asked about the blemished seconds he didn't know about them either. He was supposed to get back to me and never did. I ended up workingon some Hornady 75gr instead. Still hard to get though.

I've tried both the 68 and 75 grain Black Hills match ammo. For the price of it, I am not overly impressed. Maybe this military ammo is a bit different?

Anyhow, my handloads and even the Ruag GP 90 kicked BH ass on the 4, 5 & 600m lines.
You're experience may very well be different, as this is fairly highly regarded ammunition (from my understanding), but fwiw, I would be investing in the means to make a good hand load, than spend it on this stuff.

You are probably correct. But with the amount of ammo they are making they will end up having seconds/blemished rds that will not pass US Mil Stds. That is when they sell it off. Much of this ammo is available at various places in the US. but as usual, rare as hens teeth up here, and when it is here it costs an arm and a leg.

Hey,

Milarm is the only distributer in Can., it's a good place to check out when I'm FTD at work, read a bunch about it and tried a fair bit of it, I found it to be really good, agreed not as good as handloads but I shoot so goddamned much .223 I can't be bothered to make it, for the quality I find the price fair, and it was expalined to me that the blue boxes are factory reloads, the red, new stuff, and the black boxes are match ammo, was also imformed that our illustrius customs broker has all of Milarms shipment for testing so they don't have alot there, also have to give kudo's to the store as they always help me out, unless they are really busy but I kinda of expect that, ask for Mike
 
Mod 0 or 1 hey? It's next to impossible to find it in 5.56mm in the States, let alone in Canada (hahaha). I would love some of this ammo too, but I have full confidence we'll never see any of it in our country. The ammo situation in Canada has always sucked and will continue too.
 
I bought some .308 BH Match, branes X from them..They had 75 or 77gr in .223 but they had very few in stock...Talk to Pete Levine for the BH stuff.
 
I've got the Federal Gold Medal Match 77gr HPBTM ammo, it's the civie Match version of the mk262, OAL is a perfect fit in the AR Mags.
Oh, the price for the GMM is the same as the Black Hills by the time you work it out, also the availability of the ammo is scarce as well.
