Black Hills Match Ammunition in Canada!

I got in contact with Tier-One-Armoury today and grabbed a couple cases of Black Hills ammo. I wanted to snatch up a supply of ammo before it was all gone, and who knows how long it will be before we see this stuff again. I tried the 77 gr .223 and it shoots like a hot damn, through both my ACR and my AR. The 168 gr .308 is as good as, or better than my FGMM for group size and feels a little hotter in the shoulder. It was a cold day at the range, and I forgot my camera, but I'll have to put up a detailed review on the ammo soon.

We sat down with Black Hills at Shot Shot and are working on a large order right now.

We'll be bringing in quite a bit of it.

Let me know what you want and I'll include it on the first order.

Any idea when this ammo will be available? Planning a trip to South Dakota in June and buying ammo down there. Would love some of this stuff to try before going down.

careful now, importing without all of the required paperwork is firmly frowned upon by our american friends........

No intention of importing. Last year I went through 700 rounds in 2 days shooting at Prairie Dogs. Guess that detail was missing in my first post... Just want to get the guns zero'd before going down.

Waiting on US DOS approval. Should be any time though.

I should have pricing up on the website this week.

BH is working on getting more ammo approved up here so we should be able to provide the entire line once that happens.

I know this is a last years thread, but holy d@mn the 308 175s really shoot very good in a bone stock Remington Varmint from middle 1990s manufacture, HS Precision stock & good optics. Silverback got me one box from Tier One and we tried it out today at the range. My first group was about 1" and Silverback's efforts brought it under 3/4s with one group about 1/2" (3 shot groups from a bench) Nice shooting match factory loaded ammo.
This was our very first shooting session with it. :)

I've been speaking with the guys at Tier One Armory out of Edmonton and I'm ready to drop some $$ on heavier weight .223 ammo....BUT....they don't have a license to ship it to Quebec. What a clusterfack of a bad business move, so I'll call the guys at The Pro Line Group instead.

Darren - will you be bringing in some more BH ammo in the future?

What do you mean they don't have a license to ship to Quebec ????
What kind of license do they need ? License from who ??

I wasn't aware that you need a special license to ship ammo to Quebec !
