Black New Toy...

They are called "Classic Green" for a reason. Either you're getting mixed up with the "Black Specials" or somebody did a mix 'n match on your furniture. CQBs originally came with all green furniture, (mine did)the same as the "Classic Green" but the last shipment or two that TSE has brought in has had the black furniture. IMHO, the green looks nicer.

IIRC 95% of the classic greens i've seen on cgn and in gun stores/friends collections have had the black furniture. The only all green one I can remember of late is skullboys...wheres redleg, he knows better...(not that it really matters)

GT might moan a little but SAN also makes their 551's and 552's in black which I also find pretty nice, saved this pic from a fella in switzerland:

The only greens I have seen and touched...place 'ohhh and ahhh' here were all green. To bad I didn't have the green to get one :( Now they are all gone.

Maybe JR or Redleg can jump in here and let us know what configuration the new shipment of PE-90s and CQBs will be coming in? Will the Classic Greens have green or black furniture? Anymore all green CQBs or green paint with black furniture? I had planned on picking up another Classic Green in the near future, but I wanted all green furniture. It'll be a pain in the arse ordering new furniture from Switzerland.

I'm feeling the same way. I've been thinking long and hard about one myself but it has to be green furniture for me.

that CQB with black receivers gives me ideas..krylon anyone?
speaking of which, it is rather rare to see camo paint job on PE90's.

Painting a $3,000.00 rifle? No problems if you plan on keeping it forever, but you're destroying any resale value. Home Camo job = Fastest way to turn a $3,000.00 rifle into a $2,000.00 rifle! :)

or buy a blue star and raise the value!:D

otherwise i don't care, i don't buy a rifle to concern myself with resale. if the paint was done right i can't see how you'd regret it or have a hard time selling it if you chose to.

Bulky more than the weight, tis heavy though.

I think that the cqb just feels better naked as the day it came into the world.

The only thing I miss is the way the VFG attached...don't like it on the bolt on rail....gotta have it though, adds a ton of control.
