I know this is not the gunsmith section but... I am sure you guys know a place where I can blackened my barrel.

It's a Storm Lake 5.7" threaded with ( thread protector ) barrel 9mm.

I've had Arma-Coat do some nitride finishing on some SS parts and they came out pretty good. I don't know if Tactical Ordnance is setup for nitride finishing but you can always email them.

How did you manage to get a Storm Lake barrel? I ordered one a few months ago from Questar. I called them after a few months. In their defense, Questar's service was immediate and good. But the gentlemen I talked to said I could be waiting a year and a half for my barrel. I tried calling Storm Lake (I'm in Canada), and their international phone number automatically goes to a message indicating it doesn't accept Canadian calls. I tried their normal office number, and you get the automated attendant transferring you around you departments where you have to leave a message. I'm pretty sure Storm Lake is a scam and a fake company. I think they got my money and I'm screwed. If anyone from Questar is reading this, you probably should drop them from your website because they're scam artists. Oh well. Expensive lesson learned for me. Hell; the email addresses on storm Lake's website don't work. Let this be a lesson to anyone - don't buy from them - it's all fraud.

I waited close to 5mts for a Lone Wolf barrel from Questar. I was made aware of the wait so it wasn't a surprise.

Wanstalls carries Storm Lake barrels now.
