Black Powder in Webley II

Can anyone tell me which type of black powder would be best to load for the 455 Webley - FFG, FFG etc.? I am not that familiar with black powder. Thanks

I use FFFG in the .44 mag. though I wouldn't hesitated to use FFG if that as all I had. Make sure you have a compression load in any case.

I have used 3f '2f the 3 is supposed to burn cleaner I have also used pistol pyrodex and 777 I found reduced loads with cream of wheat as a filler gave better accuracy

Just don't use 4F - that too powerful and strictly for priming flintlocks.
