Black Powder Pistols

I'm thinking of buying a black powder pistol, I want something modern looking not 1800 style. Who sells them in Canada?? anyone have some suggestions.

"...modern looking..." As in not a SAA style? You want a cartridge revolver or percussion? Same rules apply to BP handguns as any other handgun.

If you want modern buy a Glock.

There is very little in this country for modern designed black powder handguns except for the Ruger Old Army and thats still based on the 1858 Remington.

Go look at the pistols for sale in the Antiques and Black Powder exchange forum. That will give you an idea of the old antiques, new repros and other stuiff available that can shoot BP.
