Black powder prices in your neck of the woods?

I was just in Grande Prairie and was shocked with the BP prices. Online it is cheap yet you go to a store and gulp.
Interesting to hear what you pay for 1f, 1 1/2f, 2f and 3f.
Some prices are as low as $12 a pound and others are $38 a pound(777).
 
Try Peter at Rustywood in Mission. There is a explosives company on the island that supplies Goex, cant remember the name I believe that they are n Sydney.
 
The club in Lethbridge brings Goex in bulk for about $20/lb. Talk to them at the upcoming gunshow in Feb.

You really can't compare the substitutes like pyrodex or 777 to black. Its a different beast.
 
Where are you finding $12.00 black powder in Canada?
Local show prices are about$25.00 per pound and Rustrywood in Mission wants $28.00 per pound for GOEX.
 
Tigrr...if you're gonna try Goex FFg, you know I keep it in bulk. Figure how to get it up there......little bit you need will cost about 26 ounces.....
 
Was $25 here for Goex. Havent bought any this year so it may be different. I'd buy all the $12 stuff if I saw it in person.
