Black Powder Revolvers

I was just browsing through black powder revolvers on the web and it dawned on me "Wait a minute, these are restricted". So where are you supposed to shoot these things in Calgary? Its kind of a turn off if you can't take them out to Homestead with the rest of your guns.

I'm going to try and head out to Homestead tomorrow and try out this Lyman Trade Rifle I got. Shouldn't be too bad. :)
 
You can shoot them at any registered handgun range. That probably includes most club rifle ranges. In practice you have to be a member of a fish and game club or a shooting club to get an ATT for the handgun, so almost by definition you have a place to shoot it.

"...these are restricted..." Daft isn't it? It's Clint Eastwood's fault. Some Socialist F**k twit saw how fast he changed cylinders in Josey Wales and the rest is history. Shoot 'em outside at any handgun range.
 
Ya that's the problem - the TSE is indoor and we're not allowed black powder shooting in there.
Just watched 3:10 to Yuma last night, it was ok. I think it was supposed to take place right after the Civil War so I"m confused with the guns used in the movie. I'll have to do some reading.
