black question

Someone school me on AR style rifles.

Why in the EE for black rifles is there posted Uppers and Lowers ? What is the registerable part ?

Is the action on the lower or upper ?

And why in the EE isn't half a gun listed as parts ?


I was interested in gettting into them but it seems complicated

(I haven't done any googl'n yet thought i would just ask)

The lower is the registered part on ARs.

It may seem complicated, but it's not that hard, these things are supposedly designed to be easy.
