Black rifle caliber conversions

I've been looking for a couple caliber conversions for my XCR-L and Jr carbine.Specifically 6.8 spc and .45 acp.Are many of these sold?I have only seen a couple 6.8 and never any .45 on the EE.Is this because not many of the conversions are purchased from the suppliers or( as with the 6.8) not a popular caliber?

Wolverine has the XCR 6.8 SPC barrel on a Black Friday special for just $200 and 6.8 bolt is just $160, that is heck of a deal than the listed price of $750 for the conversion kit.

I see the bolt listed for $160 but not the barrel for $200.

Oops.I see it now Other than mags,is that all that is needed for the conversion?

Perhaps the plastic shell deflector as well, you might have to email Grumpy, since small parts like that are not listed on the website

Frontier in PA had the JR conversions in stock a couple weeks ago, just the .40 in stock right now.

my experience with the JR in 45 was very poor, FTF, extraction issues, even ruptured and damaged cases

I heard that the early versions jammed alot but that they have addressed the issue with the new ones.Anyone else on here experiencing problems with one of the newer ones?

That 6.8 barrel is a great deal.For $200 plus $160 for the bolt your good to gnce you get a mag or two thats still half the regular price of a conversion.That means alot of extra mags and ammo/reloading supplies.

when did they updeate them? This was less than a year ago, the retailer said to try different ammo which was done prior to calling them about the issue.

Woohoo.I actually managed to get a 6.8 barrel and bolt.Now I have too find mags and reloading supplies.Anyone know who has brass and dies for this caliber?
