Black Rifle Challenge

Find me a back rifle that has a classic straight grip stock (similar to what is found on common hunting bolt guns), that is semi-auto, and takes AR mags.

Can it be done? Does it exist? If not- do you think there would be a market?

And no: the Remington pump actions don't count.

The MR1 is apparently very accurate, so that would be my choice over the Kel Tec Su-16. I've only seen them in the pistol grip versions (fixed or collapsible), though.

I think it's pretty easy when the alternative is permanently welding your magazine to the receiver...

I don't know why Ruger doesn't modify the Mini-14 to take AR-15 mags.
If they did, I'd grab one.
