Black rifle/iron sights expected accuracy

Are there any tips on developing shooting accuracy at ranges of 100 to 300 yards?

What is the best one can expect using iron sights and a stock AR15 or M4 clone with factory ammo?

Other than the usual tips about breathing, squeeze, and FRONT SIGHT FOCUS, can't add much...

I am NO great accuracy getter, but can happily plink American Eagle 62gr .223 into two to three inch groups all day at 100m with my Swiss on her bipod.

Standing position is another story!!
