Black Rifle Optic

Good day all, I'm looking for a red dot for my VZ-58 and my future black rifle, probably an AR or an FS2000.

I am looking for a red dot that is going to be good value for money, but will pay for quality. My VZ-58 has the NEA handguard set.

Any help would be appreciated.

Vortex SPARC or Aimpoint H1 would be my two suggestions depending on your budget.

Bushnell has two: the TRS-25 and the Bushnell Zoom Dot that can fit your VZ.
TRS-25 is as small and low-profile as an Aimpoint Micro H-1.

I have owned and used them all, Bush, Vortex, Leup. Now I only shoot Zeiss. I can't afford Zeiss Victory series but my Conquests rule.

Vortex or Aimpoint, with myself leaning towards Aimpoint for the RDS.

Another +1. You mentioned the VZ, AR and FS2000. I've got an Aimpoint T1 on my VZ carbine, plus another on one of my shortie ARs. When I was planning to run a red rot on my FS2000 it was an Aimpoint Comp M4.
I've got a few friends with the Vortex SPARC and have only heard good things.

Same situation here ... sight for a black rifle. I tried a holosight and didnt like it on my rifle.

After lots of research I just scooped up an aimpoint C3. I considered a Vortex red dot but from what info I could find is that they are not parallax free, whereas the aimpoints are. I saw that as a big advantage and went with aimpoint.

Thanks for all the feedback. I think I"m going to give one of the Bushnell's a try and then maybe an Aimpoint for my next black rifle.
