Black rifle pricing in the fall /winter ???

It seems like high end black rifles ie swiss arms , colt 6920 etc dont seem to sell as well in the fall/winter.The colt 6920 and swiss arms posted in the exchange would have been sold at higher price levels in the spring/summer for sure.

i think the colt guns have peaked in price. seems the kool-aid guys already have the models they want/need. the rest of the people are happy with "lesser" models at almost half the price. plus when there is a BAN scare the sales go up with the collector guns.

the Swiss CQB guns seems to sell all the time. the full size guns sell easier if they are green or black. the smurf color seems to be very hard to get rid of. besides, most sellers are asking near or at the retail price, but of course less taxes.

supply and demand. seems overall there is a good supply of other toys.

Since we have to shoot AR's at a range and it's cold in a lot of places during the winter I can see less urge to buy one then. When the weather gets warmer we all want to go shooting again and....

It's the same with hunting rifles right before deer season. Old farts will rummage up their long replaced old beaters before deer season and trade it in at the shop for a box of ammo and some new rubber boots.

I see target sports has there new swiss arms lowered to 2799.00 this should
also lower prices on the used models on the exchange.Interesting to see them break ranks.All the other subdealers have had them at 2999.00 for a long time.

That's the very last order of the current distributor. Rumours are the price may be higher than $3000 with the new distributor. Until the new guys are shipping who knows, it's only speculation.

Agreed, I wouldn't get all worked up in terms of pricing and availabitlity just quite yet. With that being said, I currently picked up a CQB and a Smurf special off the EE. I wouldn't say no one is buying them up. If you got the dough, now is the time to buy.
