Maybe at the next match we should shoot some stills for a Tshirt design or is that too late?

Why not go through the stills you have and see if anything leaps out at you. By all means let us take stills at the next match, there will likely be shirts every year ...

I voted "Other"...why not call it what it is.."TMSA Tac(tical) Rifle" :)
Thompson Mountain Tactical Group sounds a bit Ozarky to me.
I guess it boils down to how we want (you want it) it to be identified....by the shooters or the event.

2 things.

Where is the Thompson mountain range? (Other than Thompson Mtn) and do you have a user day system for those guys visiting from other parts of the country?

Where did you find the left handed AR for the pic?

OK guess that's 3.

Pitt Meadows BC .... 30mins East of Vancouver.

Yes, $15 for a day card, no extra charge during a match (just pay the match fee).

Very good web site for the club. Got everything I needed. I'll be close, going to a match in Victoria next month, so I will try to convince the wife that she wants to see another range   .

Still like the lefty AR :D The club design is pretty neat as well.

1. Two shirts please if there is an AR present, if not I am in for 1 shirt.
2. Without AR15s/C7s there would be no Tac-Rifle, Service Rifle or Carbine courses, it is the standard, everything else is a curio, oddity or relic.
3.Simple silhouettes look cool
4.Tac Rifle sound cool
As always YMMV.

Well, to quote my first post:
First, do you want one? Price should be around $20.

Secondly, what kind of shirt, Tshirt, muscle shirt or the traditional 'wife-beater' ... I know that's not PC but if someone else has the correct name, LMK and I'll change it.

Colours ... to keep the price down I plan one colour ink on a coloured shirt. Right now I'm leaning towards black design/lettering on OD green, but I'll listen to suggestions. Design will be small and on top left corner of shirt.

doh.......missed that part......

saw the poll and had a premature typing accident....LOL

here is a basic crest I whipped up on paint........it is pretty limiting but something long these lines would look good...in my mind anyway...

TACRIF.JPG

this of course would have to be refined and would be a crest on the left breast of a t-shirt or whatever, and on the back something simple as well..

just my thoughts though......

Actually I've noticed that AR's are "down" to about only 3/4 of the rifles at the matches. LOL. I don't even care if it's a shooter with an AR, I'd just rather see the event portrayed in the graphic, than a rifle that may or may not be what all of us are shooting. I'll see what I can come up with in Photoshop, but it might be a few days (moving on the weekend).

I think to t-shirt idea is great. I'd be in for one if it had an AR on it. The only other thing is that keeping it short (like TM Tac Rifle) would make the graphics neater and would look cool as well (and as one gun nut suggested, "less ozarky" than Thompson Mountain.)

Other than that, I think you guys will sell a bunch and now I will have to come out to Pitt Meadows to try the range :D

Oh...forgot to mention:
Please put me down for 1 of whatever shirt is decided upon.
My preference would be for long sleeves in a polo-style, but a plain T is ok too. :)

Alex,

What about the brs-99 with the new 18.5 inch barrel. Just kidding. Work on the weekend means more money for your new restricted brs-99  .

Steve.
