What is the twist rate on the black special 1 in 10 or 7?

They are 1 in 10 unless specified 1 in 7. 95% of them are 1 in 10.

Easy, run a patched rod down the bore and count the number of twists in 7 or 10 inches.

Ya, that was my first though when I saw this thread...Id better go search another thread

As indicated in the other thread, the 1:7 twist barrels have a flash suppressor that is threaded internally. Dimensionally the two flash supressors are different as well. The 1:7s were (as I understand it) made for NATO countries fielding Sigs.
