Ok I just want to put a shout out for Black Box Customs. I obtained a new Glock 17 Gen 5 magwell made all in house at Black Box, this magwell is great so far! Fits well, mags go in on mag changes like a hot knife through butter! Ejection is smooth and fast as well.
Now production on the next run won’t be for 3 weeks I’m told, but if your having a hard time finding a magwell for your Glock 17/34/19, Gen 5’s, check out their web page they’re taking pre orders now.

Thanks, slide work and stipple job done by Black Box. Cut for the Holosun 509T as well as the Holosun all from BB. Glock performance trigger and steel guide rod, and the BB magwell. And a Radium Ramjet barrel with compensator. Shoots better than me in local IDPA matches.

Great looking build Tanner. We appreciate the feedback. Your Gen 5 definitely looks better with the magwell. Thanks again!
 
I dropped off a 14" Remington 870 for Ceracoating. I checked out the Black Box magwell for my Glock 48. Very nice. I'm not sure of I'm going to pull the trigger on one, but their magwell fits very nice on the 48. (I'd settle for a nice grip plug).

Nice staff, good products.
 
I like it a lot! Originally I have the less aggressive stippling and it wasn’t grippy enough for me. I had it re-done to this type and it’s way better for competitive shooting.

OP, your Gen 5 17 looks great, looking at stippling my Gen 4 17 and those photos have made my decision easier. I’ll have a chat with the boys at Black Box and see what magwell options are there for the Gen 4 17.
 
I’ve had my two Glocks done by BBC and no problems with their work. I can only comment on my experience with them since they’ve started in business. Great group of guys and when I wasn’t happy they fixed it.

Is this space a discussion forum, or is it not?

Is this space limited to fawning praise, or is it supposed to reflect the sincere opinions of the posters?

Of what value is a magazine, or a gun writer, or a discussion forum, where reviews are less than honest (lest an advertiser be offended)?

Its a discussion forum. Cannot always be praise and sunshine and lolly pops.

They might do good work, but they need to stop forcing cerakoting on their machine jobs Because they cannot get over their own insecurities and worried about resell.

Ive gotten optic plates from other businesses and wow if they cerakoted you be like wow these are great. But holy the machining was bad. One of what you order and what you get.

I guess you're not supposed to say anything if the service and workmanship was less than ideal. Too bad!! I'll say what I think is right and let the chips fall where they may. I've also given good praise in the past to other shops on CGN If they've done right by me.

OP had a good experience - I'm glad - I truly am. This is not always the case and in my case definitely not (both in workmanship and service). As far as I'm concerned they would do better sticking to car parts - YMMV!!!

proper frame/slide mods
proper accessories
proper service

Very few outfits anywhere can do what they do at the level of precision they achieve. Can anyone confirm these magwells fit the G44?
