Blackfeather question

Guess I'm SOL

I have always been curious about this, is it possible that a gunsmith could ream/mill out the blackfeather op rod guide to fit a heavy barrel or are there other issues that I'm not taking into account? Maybe the stock itself will not accomodate the extra barrel diameter?

hey guys finally got my dominion arms m305 fitted into the black feather (btw amazing stock best purchase ever!) but have a question i need an AR buffer tube for the magpul prs stock. really confused on different types and really not sure which to buy. the pic i seen was essentially just a straight tube but all ones i have seen on vendors have the multiple position tubes. will they work?

This is the part you require to attach the PRS to your black feather system.

Got the tube from another site but wish I had seen this earlier. Closer to home haha. But got the PRS on and man I love this rifle even more. Gonna get it out to range tomorrow and see what it can do!

The stock may work with a standard buttstock adapter, but you need to pick the right pistol grip. The standard M16A2 stock does not allow a good solid grip with the trigger hand. I tried it and it was very uncomfortable. The Magpul PRS just allows you to get the correct grip placement since it doesn't taper down until much farther back than the old A2 stock does.

If you want to use the M16 stock, you need the high buttstock adapter or a different grip that allows the proper pistol grip hand placement.

Tony.
