blackhawk .357/9mm

If you mean the Ruger Convertible model, I have one with the 71/2 barrel. It shoots well
with 0357 jacketed bullets and with .357 lead bullets with the 357 cylinder. Shoots well
with 9mm cylinder with .356 jacketed and with .357 lead bullets. The only problem seems
to be that the 9mm cylinder has to be brushed out every 6-12 rounds because cases do
not extract easily sometimes

I have one and it seems to shoot best with .357 ammo. But it still is fun to shoot as a 9mm. And somehow it shoots 9mm ammo very fast indeed.

I chronographed a load that use a 115 grain Winchester bullet in front of 4.9 grains of 231 powder and it developed 1250 fps. This surprised me. I was expecting about 1100 fps.

Anyway, get the gun and you will like it. I have had no problems with cases sticking in my 9mm cylinder.
