just got some bad news, blackhawk gear took over knoxx and will be moving knoxx overseas .
That really sucks as the blackhawk tac gear is crap.
I know soem of the knoxx parts are allready allready made in taiwan, but that big a deal, but most of the black hawk stuff is just junk.
oww well another money grab i guess.

Blackhawk is fine for 90% of the use it's subjected to this side of the coast (LE who "trunk it", PSD's, and airsoft wannabe's).

It's the only mass-production Tac-Gear that can reach you in a couple weeks at most, not months unlike others. Of other things on the "battle belt", I ran a BH cuff pouch (big, awkward, but super-easy access while holding full rentention), and a BH single-mag pouch that I use to hold my Leatherman Wave. Setup has been such for nearly a year, with no signs of obvious wear. Only complaint is that material is a boat-load stiffer then what most are used to.

does that mean i need to get a Mesa stock to get a quality US made product? or are Knoxx stocks still made in the US (for now)?

Ok this is silly.

My email to Knoxx:

Someone I know was mentioning that they heard that your company has been sold or taken over by Blackhawk Gear.
Is this true or false?

The reply, (notice the address):

"BlackHawk Customer Service" <cs@blackhawk.com>
Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email. The information that has been given to you is incorrect.

Best Regards,
Donna

My reply to their reply:

What part is incorrect?

I sent this email to Knoxx, and get a reply from BlackHawk Customer Service.

Their reply:

Knoxx is officially part of Blackhawk Products Group. We will be formally announcing the acquisition shortly. Thanks!

well the thing is we all know what hapened to blackhawk when they moved ther sruff to china, they have since moved a bunch of the products back to being mades in the US.
I have no real issue with stuff being made in china , if blackhawk want a well made product, but all so made in china, they can have that but they will have to pay a bit more for it the old like of" we moved it to china to get it done faster" is just BS.
lets hope the Knoxx stuff stages as good as it is all ready.
