BLACKHILLS AMMO where in Canada

when I win that rafle rifle.....I will try tp pick a date...


the little LTR does real good to 600meters after that she starts to open up

but I am getting the 154gr scenar to shoot really good out of her at 2930 FPS so who knows......

I'd put $5 on Jimmy and Alain:D

IIRC a few years ago the cadets were using Blackhills ammo in their Sportcos. They were also issued a wooden tent peg to use as a mallet to open their bolts:runaway: The Sportcos and Blackhills ammo is now gone and replaced by RPA Quadlocks and RG Match.

sorry 2830 out of a 20" LTR 45.6 grs of IMR 4895 154 Scenar,at 2.960 COL my rifle has a long throat!!

I am running Gunjucie in the bore to I have no signs of pressure

EDIT: Haha I didn't read the "154 Scenar" part; I thought you were still shooting SMK's:eek::p.

I am still working out tha 154 but my go to load is with the 175SMK but with 17.75 MOA at 600meters the Lapua should be able to blow it out of the water

Looks like we are a step or two closer.Talked to the Blackhills and they are game.Minimum order is 10,000 rounds.How much interest is there?Obviously the more we order the cheaper it is.Probably keep it to .223 and .308 to begin with, but I'm open to other ideas too.

I could probably go for 1K .223 and 500 .308, maybe more. :wave:

What bullet weights are planned?

My plan is to order 100-200 of each .223 Rem offering and then, depending on the performance, order 1000 rnds of the best load....
