Its hit and miss finding it. Prices I've seen are $125-$159 for an 8oz bottle.

Sporteque has some in stock.

Prices are crazy on it. I tried some when it first came out and I didn’t think it was anything special. I use regular black powder or triple 777. A lot cheaper. $250 to $300 for a pound of powder is just plain nuts.

Bought an 8oz can a few years ago. It was 55.00. I don't understand the pricing these days. I will say that it is a lot cleaner than 777.

What the price of BlackHorn 209 has done is that I don't shoot my muzzleloader for fun...

It's the one gun I've sighted in & only load to hunt. Unfortunate, as it is fun to take different stuff to the range...

I feel your pain. I have discontinued all rapid firing of my muzzleloader.
Two practice shots this year, and one shot fired in hunger.

I think I fired 7 shots all year? I swapped scopes on my CVA Optima, bore sighted it, fired a couple shots at 50m & moved it out to 100m and fired a couple more.

Oh, and NO shot fired in hunger... Work, renos & family obligations prevented me from sitting a single time with my smoke pole!

Now, I hope I can get out with my Xbow in late season...

Naturally, product scarcity coupled with exorbitant price hike can be frustrating! However, the powder generally performs very well.

Admittedly, that load gives my CF rifles a good run for their money.

Great shooting.
Sweet spot for my Encore is 92gr with the same Barnes T-ez. 97gr in my old Omega. Also have a T/C Impact for another backup but it's still brand new and I've never fired it.
I can shoot blackhorn with the Barnes in both for a multitude of rounds without cleaning between. I typically only clean them when I get back to the house.
777 not so much. My Encore much prefers hornady sst with 777 and no way can i load a second round without cleaning in between. Kinda useless to me for hunting in my firearms.
