Probably very dumb question but is there such thing available as blackpower
22 lr shells
I have a ruger single six and would like to see some smoke

Well, you could look around for some old BP or semismokeless ammunition. It might not misfire. But the amount of black in a .22 wouldn't give you much smoke anyway. And you would really have to clean your revolver.
