Hey all,

My uncle has asked me to source him a cannon replica for his deck with overlooks the pacific. Anyone got any ideas?

If it is just for show then how about a replica made from wood,it would be a lot lighter and cheaper than steel.
With a good paint job it would withstand the elements better than steel.

A swivel gun wouldn't have the weight issues a big gun would have either, but where he mounts it would matter. A regular 2 x 4 railing wouldn't though.

Stick with a brass cannon if you're by the ocean. These are scaled down though.
