Hello,

I am getting ready for my Black Badge in September and have a couple questions about holsters...

I purchased a Bladetech DOH roughly 3 years ago and only used it briefly then after completing a Holster Course.

Trying it on again now after a number of years I noticed the muzzle is pointed at my leg when holstered and I don't like that....

Has anyone run a CR SPEED C-BAX Hanger with a Bladetech Holster? It looks like if I hang the holster off of that instead of the offset mount from Bladetech I will have way more adjustability and it will keep the firearm pointed to the ground.

Please let me know if anyone has had experience with this?

Thank you,

I have the same Bladetech DOH and all I did was stick a rubber shim (washer) between the DOH piece and the holster itself on the bottom screw, which kicks the bottom of the holster outward enough that it straightens it. The screw is long enough to still engage the holster properly and now it no longer points toward my thigh.

I ordered a Ben Stoger BOSS hanger for the Bladetech holster and it works perfectly. Delivery from the US took about a week.

That's what I did until I got a boss hanger.

I had a CR holster and a bladetech and I bought the CR adaptor to allow me to mount the holster to the hanger. Great rig. I bought it so that I would be IPSC legal as the standard DOH bladetech keeps the grip too far from my torso.

I have a Bladetech OWB. I heated the plastic up with a paint stripper heat gun and bent the hanger part to where I wanted it, dipped it in cold water to set it. All good now.
