Bladetech DOH

Of course I know that a new holster (DOH vs Speedsec)won't make a person a better shooter, but there is one less thing to worry about when I go shooting at a match. (Ie: locking and unlocking, shooting from seated or awkward positions which may or may not make the pistol more prone to falling out of the holster, missing the grip on my draw and knocking it out of the holster, banging the front sight off of something as it is not covered, etc.....)

the main reasoning for the DOH is for USPSA...but i have found i had to lock my Ghost for weird stages with turning, sitting, etc.... This made me very conscience of my draw...i kept on making sure my gun doesnt fall out or i locked the holster, and slowing my draw. Will test the DOH at the course Sunday.

Tried the DOH today... It isn't much slower than my Ghost! The holster is solid and very secure. The only down side is my thumb rub against the side of the tek lock during draws.

I tried 2 draw positions...straight and muzzle forward. The muzzle forward is the way to go, but with this you must position the holster a little more back.

I really like it. I'll try it more during the course tmr.

2000 rds since last real cleaning...I got to detail strip my Glock and replace the grip tape. Got to get the soap and warm water ready!!
