Be aware that Blaser apparently has a new distributorship arrangement, and the Canadian dealers are sourcing Blaser firearms from Blaser USA. The result is that prices have gone up significantly.
It would appear that an F16 Sporting has jumped by 1K in the last few months !
Still less than half the price of other target guns, with modest options.
Maybe they’re half the gun?
Comparing a base Vantage or Supersport to a base K-80, you are looking at $10K, compared to $14K here in Canada. So now it's closer to 70% rather than the 50% it was last year.
Most guys that purchase brand new K-80s and the likes within reason don’t much care about a couple grand here or there. Sorta like asking how much does it cost to fill up the motor coach?
Exceptions to every rule of course but for most it won’t determine the out come of that nights meal.
The Blaser F-3 was a much lower cost option to Krieghoff and Kolar, but with the price increase, that is no longer the case. With the price gap closing up, potential buyers may just step up in price to Krieghoff or Kolar.
If Blaser was competing against the 692 price point with the F16 and the F3 was the DT11 they are now more competitive with there pricing.
How do you make quality stand out without charging more?
K and P have been doing this for a long time.
You are missing the point. This isn't about Blaser raising their prices world wide, the US prices have not gone up significantly. This is about Blaser changing from exporting directly to a Canadian distributor, to exporting to the USA distributor, and then to Canadian dealers through a Canadian rep. When the firearms go to the USA , an import tax is applied, and now there is one more middle man between Blaser and the Canadian dealers. It is this new arrangement that has caused the prices to increase significantly in Canada.

Blaser was originally a mid level entry. Not anymore. It is up to the market to decide if they agree. Quite a few starting to show up on the Sporting scene. Don’t know about Trap or Skeet.
Doesn’t MD Charlton carry Blaser? I thought they were Canadian.
They used to be the Canadian Distributor.
