I see a dealer here has some old stock of these. Some time has pased since they first came out i was wondering if some are still using these\ still pleased with their purchase? Tracking good? Sharp glass? Illumination reasonably sharp/usable?

Any and all feedback would be appreciated!

Not a 1-5 but I had the Falcon 4-14. mil/mil. I accepted all the little things about it because it's a budget scope, decent enough for the money.

However, the big thing I couldn't accept over time was the eye box. It was very unforgiving & narrow and really started to bother me and eventually got rid of it.

Maybe the 1-5 is different ?

No, the 1-5 has a tight eye box as well. It's more suited to a lower recoil application like .223 or 7.62x39.

Nice glass and I really like the reticle, but not a lot of eye relief.

All in all, a great value for the $200 Frontier has them on for.

I ran the 1.5 -5 with the illumination on my .308 semi auto deer rifle a few years ago. Seemed built well with half decent glass. In the end,I found the center for a bit big for my liking.

Had a 1-5. Used it on an AR for service rifle competition. Liked it, shot well with it. Then it failed me at the Nationals. While doing the walk back zero prior to the start of the matches, something broke internally. Had a 4-14. Liked it, did some good shooting with it. Then during the Nationals, the ocular assembly came loose, wobbling on the tube. Two scopes, two mechanical failures when it mattered.
Wouldn't touch one with someone else's 10 foot pole.
