Ohhh man, Marstars “no bull” ads and 399 m14’s, those were the days. They had mighty deals on the norinco 1911’s and 45 acp by the crate as well.Half of CGN used to be dedicated to the M305
Sometimes, it's BETTER IN ALL CAPS!![]()
M305 + 500rds was $500 shipped, and the 1911s were $500 for the pistol and 1000rds. Bought/sold/traded/shot 2 of each!Ohhh man, Marstars “no bull” ads and 399 m14’s, those were the days. They had mighty deals on the norinco 1911’s and 45 acp by the crate as well.
I took a job a friend worked at, so because he “refered” me, got 300 bucks as a bonus which he offered to split if I put his name down, we ended up using the 300$ to buy two norinco woodsman 22 pistols (149 bucks each), that was about 2008. Friend of mine, about the same time had a 2007 m14 he paid 399 for, and 40 bucks for a usgi synthetic stock, he needed some cash for another project and sold me the gun and stock for 300.
Somewhere on a cd, I have a bunch of pics saved from one of Hungry’s M14 clinics back around the same time frame. I know it’s here somewhere, cause if I lost it my d**k would fall off.
Nice Scout rifle set up, I’m a big fan of Col. Cooper’s concept.Aaah...those were the days...

Thanks, I am a Cooper fan as well, although an M1A-pattern rifle is way too heavy to strictly qualify as a true Scout according to his definition. That was the one and only deer I took with that rifle, along with a few coyotes; it was one of my favourite range toys but as a hunter it kinda fell short due to weight, "rattliness" and general handling characteristics, IMHO.Nice Scout rifle set up, I’m a big fan of Col. Cooper’s concept.
This thread is all about getting ready for the M305 renaissance!
I can almost taste it.
