Blast off Events

Shoot #1 - As issued event. Enfield Volley, 20 rounds total – 10 rounds at 50 meters, 10 rounds at 100 meters, Shot prone, standing or sitting – your choice Time limit – 8 minutes – no rest ( lee enfield rifles only )

Shoot #2 – As issued event. Vintage rifle. Any military rifle bolt r semi SKS and VZ 58 okay for this event. 20 rounds total. 10 rounds at 50 meters, 10 rounds at 100 meters. Shot prone, standing or sitting – your choice. Time limit 8 minutes. No rests.

Shoot #3 – Marstar's 7.62 x 39 shoot. Any military rifle chambered for the 7.62 x 39 cartridge. No optics. 3 man team drawn from a hat. Each team engages an array of targets from 15 to 75 meters. Shot standing. Time limit 4 minutes.

Shoot #4 – Anything goes military rifle. Any military rifle optic or open site, semi or bolt customized or as issued. Optic's must be of 4x or less. Variables may be used if set to 4x or less. 20 rounds total. 10 rounds at 50 meters. 10 rounds at 100 meters. Time limit 8 minutes – no rest or bipods.This event allows described optics so that firearms equipped with red dots elcans, and likes as well as low power vintage snipers a chance to compete. Shot standing sitting or prone.

Shoot #5 – Blast Off, Any military rifle, bolt or semi-auto, optic or open site. As many rounds as you can put into to black scoring ring at 100 meters. Bolt action shooters shoot prone. Optic shooters shoot standing. Time Limit 2 minutes.

Shoot #6 – Black Rifle shoot. AR15 mill spec. (SIG'S, XCR'S etc. Are good to go as well ). Shot prone, standing or sitting. 10 rounds at 50 meters, 20 roundsa at 100 meters. Time limit 8 minutes. Open site – no optic's.

Shoot #7 – Lumber Jack shoot. ( 50/50 shoot ). 3 man team. You pick your own team members. First team to shoot a 1” x 3” in half wins. Any rifle optic or iron site. Shot standing.(MAX .323 CAL) No Rimfires.

Shoot #8 – Precision (sniper rifle ). Any rifle you choose maximum forend of 2 ¼ inches. 15 rounds at 100 meters, 15 rounds at 200 meters off bench. Front rest or bipod only. No rear rests. Time limit 20 minutes.

Shoot #9 – Shotgun Event – 15 rounds of shot shells and 10 rounds of slugs. Course to be announced on the day of shoot.

Hand Gun Events
Hand gun shoots can be shot at any time throughout the day. Targets are at various stagered distances. There is two categories. One for service pistol and one for vintage handgun.
There will be awards for first, second and third places for shoot humber 1,2,4,6,8,12 as well as service handgun and vintage handgun.

What do I need to know for entering the shoots? Can I enter? (Im not a member of EESA, but am a member at Crumlin) , and lastly, What time should I be there to register? Thanks.......
 
Bring a shooting mat, enough ammo, you need $35.00 registration fee, you need to be able to handle a firearm safely on a firing line, be there and registered by 8am matches start promptly at 9am. (sometimes) Usually done with the awards and draws by 5pm. And lastly do not shoot better than me:D

There will be the 101st. air borne re-enactment group
as well as displays of vintage military firearms
 
one rifle checked/sighted.... other one tommorow..... I'm excited for this. never been to one yet.... Even if I shoot like crap, Its looks like Im gonna have a great time....
