Blaze orange vests! For those of us in Ontario.

BTW you can get ticketed for covering your orange with a backpack, unless it's also orange. Hopefully you will have a nice guy check you out, and just get a warning. But don't bet on it.

Me I use a simple orange vest, nothing fancy, and put all my pocket stuff in my coat. The only thing I insist on in a vest, is that it's silent.

I have a cammo rucksack for hunting. I wrap a cheap $7 vest around it and secure it on with carabiner's. A CO saw it and said it was a great idea.

Here is my vest. It is one of their "Gen1" vests. They are modular and you can set them up however you want.
From onduty.ca

There is a minimum square centimetre requirement for blaze in Ontario for big game hunters. It used to be 100sqcm, I think. All I know now is a blaze vest and hat are minimums. I don't think there is any requirerment for small game unless you are hunting small game in during an open big game season.

where i live thats from aug 15 - nov15 inclusive
so i wear it all the time
