If you have read any of my posts in this forum over the past few years about our misadventures chasing wolves on the north shore of Lake Superior, you will know one of our hunt group was Murray Davidson aka My72Jeep on CGN.
I got an urgent phone call from his wife tonight saying Murray had collapsed while tending his chickens. I am at camp 3 1/2 hours away from home but was able to contact Ben aka Paddle2DaC who rushed to the hospital to with her. He called me 10 minutes later to tell me Murray didn't make it.
Murray was the recipient of a full liver transplant about 18 months ago and we honestly didn't think he would make it to the transplant. He had some medical issues from the transplant but overall was doing well and had just come back from a check up where they said he was good enough they didn't want to see him for a year.
Ironically we were texting this afternoon and he was going to see me tomorrow at camp. I was fishing when his wife called and thought it was him arranging for me to take him fishing tomorrow. Murray leaves behind his wife and a 16 year old daughter.
I know there is a memorial section and will post details there later, but thought I would put in the information in this forum as most of our posts were here.
Rest in peace buddy.
