Not too bad of a title eh!?

This is just to set the scene for a crate full of european firearms (all registered) a friend from europe wants to sell...these are part of the family lot he took ownership of with intent to sell someday...we will open the crate next Saturday...I will have my camera and I plan to show the pieces on this forum and the exchange one (EE) as well...he mentionned fully engraved italian shotgun, combo o/u HK, etc...

Stay tuned til next weekend...it's a date!

here is the crate and content...

I suspect this will not be the right place for this info as regretably I did not find antiques in this crate...but i will post here as it is where I advertised the date...so moderator beem me up as required...thanks.

Here is the crate…and content…
Content will be for sale as soon as we figure out fair value for these 5 shotguns and 4 rifles

You are welcome...as indicated we have to find some kind of a value for these...CGN and Google is a start...It will be a learning experience.i.e.cal 7 64...what is it? european do not sell militay calibers firearms to civilians for some reason...to prevent world wars or some other good reason. In any case, the owner of these and I (and you...) will work on the fair value and release these to a next owner...

Military Caliber are still available for hunting except in France and Belgium.
The Caliber 7x64 is comparable with .270

Thanks...I knew there are some restricitions in Europe with Mil calibers and civilian useage, so I presume someone in Canada would have trouble feeding a 7X64 compare to a guy with a 308 etc...personnally i do not see an attraction for such a foreign caliber but i guess some will...I hope..
Just like this shotgun in 24 cal (ga)...I heard of 16, 20 ,28 but 24! was news to me!

Cheers

First time I hear that one...maybe you or Borat could explain? sounds like you would need to buy your components at the butcher shop or slaugther house for bulk quantity...

A 280 with "goat glands" is about the same as a 280 on steroids!

7X64 Brenneke is a great cartridge...
