Blog reccomendation: "Firearms History, Technology, and Development"

[fat tony]

The history of firearms is inextricably linked with human politics. What is refreshing in this blog though, is the lack of harping on USA firearms politics. In addition, it is not the usual insular USA only commercially driven enterprise. It encompasses a lot of global firearms history. The blog does not exactly focus on antique and blackpowder firearms, although such firearms are discussed in numerous articles in the blog.

Finally, there may be some articles where more citations and references would be nice, if only to give you some ideas for further quality reading.

Made it to the 3rd paragraph, where he explained that S & W invented the swing out cylinder. Perhaps a bit more research was required. Kind of tripped right out of the gate, there.
Seems pessimistic, but a correction would make it look better.

Yes. I guess that is the problem with the blogiverse. People are not so good on referencing, & some of them are learning the art of camouflaging opinion as fact!

Something I have found very rewarding ( not financially, but for satisfaction ) is to start my own blog ( http://rifletalk.org ). It keeps me mentally active now I no longer work for a living and allows me to write about things I like. So, if you like BP and Antiques why not start your own website/blog - you will 'meet' lots of folks from all over the World and will learn a lot in the process.
