Blow gun hunting in canda?

The device commonly known as "Yaqua Blowgun", being a tube or pipe designed for the purpose of shooting arrows or darts by the breath, and any similar device.

So if it's simply a piece of pipe, it was not designed for the purpose of shooting arrows or darts by breath. But what about "any similar device"? Does that negate the need for designed for the purpose?

Ha! Good one!

My schools had many prohibited weapon incidents, including shuriken being thrown up and down the hall outside the metal shop. How did we all manage to survive all that ninja mania?! :rolleyes:

Before they were banned I bought a commercial one from a place in the 'States. It'll blow through thin plywood or stick a dart so deep you need to grunt on it with pliers to pull it out. Accurate? You could hit a cigarette package all the time at about 10 yards. Never did get around to bagging a grouse with it but you could have, no problem.

I used to make projectiles that contained firecrackers. I had a small hole through which to light the fuse. You could shoot them out the back window, lobbing them a good 75 feet to the fence in the back yard. I used a bic lighter, because it allow you to extinquish the flame quickly and aim and fire. My dad thought a match was just as good, but that mistake cost him a couch.
 
We used to make crude muzzleloaders out of conduit. Make a stock, put a piece of conduit with a crimped end. Light one of the big firecrackers, toss it down, then a marble over top. Put a pretty good dent in a wooden garage door.

"ninja" weapons are impossable to ban as banning weapons is where ninjato started every weapon in the ninja class are simple to make

dart type shuriken were made from nails infact i can take a 60 penny nail and stick it into a board by thowing it

blow guns are not just ninja weapons some native tribes used them for hunting small game some of these tribes did migrate into canada after the indian wars started of corse then thay were using firearms to hunt but still
 
Many years back I got to try one out that had been seized from some poor guy who had them as part of a circus act. Very interesting, very accurate, very powerful, considering it's just powered by breath.

like i said many times before on here theres some things cop's just dont care about as long as your not carrying them i have a display case full of prohibted knives and "weapons" but that case is under lock and key yes ive had cops in my house and yes thay have seen them and said nothing about it

remember this there only prohibited as weapons so if you dont use them as such then there not weapons and therefore not prohibited :D thats my .02

the spiked armband this would have every punk rocker type behind bars if thay even cared about it :p
