Over the years I've had a little struggle removing powder kernels from my reloading scale when they find thier way onto the weighing pan. I've tried soft paint brushes and even a small dust buster but today I was in a camera store and bought one of these and I think it's just great.

Just give it a sqeeze and it blows the powder right out.

Do any of you guys have a better idea? How do you deal with it?

Thats about the best way to do it, but as a firearms owner, please do not buy from Henry's... Search for their pixels for pistols campaign

Or the mythbusters the way, 5hp compressor with 80 gallon tank, 1/2" air hose coupled to a sandblasting nozzle..... But a little squeeze bulb will work quite well..

You might also check Princess Auto, they have a red bulb squirter intended for putting water into batteries, $4 ($2 on sale). The only thing is the nozzle might need a reducer for greater air pressure (put small tube, like a pen ink tube and glue, hot glue or heat sealing in place)

Lost me where the powder is going, are you talking digital or balance? I never had a problem with powder going anywhere but the weighing pan?

I'm talking about digital scales in particular. Sometimes a few kernels of powder find thier way out of the weighing dish and onto the pan. This throws the reading off.
