Blr 22-250

Is it possible to lighten the trigger pull on my BLR 22-250? any ideas on how to make it a more accurate rifle?

You can only expect so much out of a leaver action.

I'm not sure if this is precision rifle but I'm getting just under 3/4 inch groups at 100 yards with Winchester bulk ammo. At 300 it is 2 1/4" three shot groups. I figured it was too accurate for the hunting forum. Thanks for your help.

3/4" groups at 100 yards every time? Or is 3/4" your best?

I used to have a BLR in .22-250, it was more accurate than a lot of bolt guns i've seen.

You have a sub-moa lever action rifle....and you want to improve it?

Man, you have a real shooter there and you could win yourself a lot of bets against bolt action shooters. Shoot it and be happy.

As for your trigger pull question, still try the hunting rifle forum or maybe the gunsmithing forum for advice.

Although I've never tried to have trigger work done on a BLR, I've read that it is quite tricky and that most gunsmiths will shy away from the attempt. BLR's
can be surprisingly accurate, but I don't think Browning ever intended them for the precision shooting crowd. If you're thinking of getting into precision,
or long range shooting, then definitely go with a bolt action, but if you're just trying to improve (and the BLR's trigger is definitely it's weakest attribute)
what is already a fine shooter, then I'd be asking around the Gunsmithing Forum.
