BLR or Tikka T3 - Light?

I would pick the one with a good trigger ,you know the one thats not a BLR.
Good sights and good triggers make shooting easier when shooting from unsteady positions.
BTW I have a BLR and I think it's pretty handy too.
Browning,Remington,Savage and Ruger currently make competitively priced hunting rifles (with fixable triggers) .

I have a skao a7 and a savage accutrigger and the triggers are very comparable with s light nod to the sako. The a7 trigger is very similar to the tikka t3 in feel.

I've paid out more than few bucks to get the triggers on my Remingtons and Vanguard set up hopefully even close to as sweet as was the Tikka right out of the box!

Interesting you mention about the weight, since I bought a Tikka in 308 and ended up selling it because I did not like the recoil. I went back to using Frontier Ruger in 308. In regard to the BLR, I considered at it when I replaced my Tikka and quite liked it, since I like compact rifles which are easy to carry. Are you getting a take down model. of the BLR?

Nope, I bought the BLR pistol grip 300wsm, non take-down. I've yet to shoot it, need to get the scope install then bring it out to the range. I bought the Winchester XP3 180gr to go along with it. "here moossey moossey"

tough choice

Being a lefty I was faced with the same choice years ago. Being a lever fan I bought a 284 BLR. I took a lot of animals with that rifle. I now have a good selection of hunting rifles and my main two go to rifles are my 325 BLR and my LH tikka 270WSM. My usual is to grab the BLR, it just feels good to grab that camo duratouch stock and snick the action. As already stated you get a poor trigger with that pick but go find a gunsmith and they can be made better. You cant get a tikka like trigger out of one though. Happy hunting.
