What do these gun sell for ? Very good shape 1 mag, Bushnell scope of little value (IMHO) 308. Nice looking and feeling gun, I do not know if the Japan guns bring a premium :d or discount:( . What do you in the know think, I wish it was a different cal. but it is not. Aj

It's worth $500.00 - $650.00 if it's in nice original condition. If it was in .358 win, add another $150.00 or so.

The only problem with the pre -81 BLR's is the fact that the clips are scarce and sell for $200.00 - $300.00 alone.

The BLR's that were made in Belgium (1970 - 1973) are maybe a little more desirable, as they had a hand rubbed oil finish with hand cut checkering.
When production moved to Japan in '73, the stocks had a gloss finish, even more so by the late '70's.

Still great rifles though, very accurate, and reliable, and as you noticed, they feel great!

I sold one at our last local show and to get $650 scoped was a challenge.
One of the nicer ones I've seen too.
Decided to keep the 358win instead.

Good to hear the value I picked up a Belgian made 308 for $150 a few months ago in near mint condition might have to let it go I've got my eyes on a browning maxis hunter

OP, if you wish to go right smack dab in the middle of the quote in post #2 and ship it to MB, I'll take it, subject to a few pics look see. Might save you some time and and hums and haws from some of the EE buyers. I don't need it, got one in 308, but I love BLR's and can't get enough of them. Yeah, I too wish yours was in another cartridge, but it is what it is. Let me know, it's a serious offer!
