was looking into getting one in 7mm-08 butnot sure on scope mounting and duribility. aslo the one i was looking at didnt have sling studs how difficult are they to instal.

any comments good or bad will be apperciated

I dont know much about the takedown but my BLR in.243 has been an awesomely reliable and accurate piece. If the take down is anything like mine, then you'll be happy with it.

whole sale sports in the naniamo store has one on the shelf. i dont think browning updates there site very much. wolud love a one piece ss/lam pistol grip but there is no such thing that i know of.

I have a 2-7x leupold with 30mm objective mounted in the usual way - no problems - just have to take off the rear sight. There is plenty of room to get at the hammer and the gun is super accurate. I kind of wish I would have gone for 3-8x because this gun is as accurate as a bolt. I also like the short barrel.

Oops, I reread your post - where is it mounted - I did not get the scout scope if that is what you are asking. I did some research on it and came to the conclusion that there was no benifit and negatively impacts your field of view - I don't know if this is true or not.

ya had it at the range today no scope but its a dam fine gun will prob mount scope tradional as will be only takeing it down a few times a year to clean was leaning to a 2-7 x33leopuold or something compairible

Yeah, thats the scope I have VX1 - but as I think I said that gun is as capable as a bolt and I should have put a 3-8 on it.
