Blr trigger

The short answer is not realy. The BLR has a very difficult diassembly and assembly procedure which must be repeated several times to tune the trigger. There are no gunsmiths I'm aware of who will do this job as the cost in labour would be prohibitve.

I don't know if the old model BLRs have the trigger adustment screw but the Lightning long and short actions do. It is part number B3475358 and it is in the lever behind the trigger. It is hard to see or reach without removing the lever from the reciever. If you tighten it up all the way it will remove the first stage of the trigger but you are still left with the hard, creepy second stage. Improving the second stage requires gunsmithing. I got my own down to a crisp 3 lb. pull so I know it can be done. No I'm not going to do it for anybody else.

Believe it or not the BLR has a trigger adjustment screw that will remove some of the take up.

I never found that screw in all the BLR's I worked on...

I used to work those triggers pretty light and crisp ($80) but it took several attempts before I was happy and I was always wondering if the next 'adjustment' would screw up a sear and require new parts and to start all over...

I don't do them anymore...

Care to PM me and give me a general idea what you did please? - Thanks
