Anybody know what choke system the Blue Line Pump shotguns use ..... those with an 28" barrel come with removable chokes ..... but what system?

I am thinking about getting a 28" version .... but I would also need to get some additional chokes ....IC, Full, Turkey .... etc.

(The Blue Line Pump is basically a Remington 870 clone made by Norinco.)

If you read the specs it say cylinder with no refference to removeable chokes .would lead me to believe it would be a fixed choke barrel .

Rembolt, thanks for chiming in ....

I have the 18" version of the Blue Line Pump .... and it has a fixed cylinder choke ..... basically no choke .... and it is not threaded for chokes.

And for the price that I paid (CAD $300.-) .... it is a solid performer .... I have no complaints .... Great value for the money!!!!
Better fit and finishing and no MIM parts and a metal trigger group ... compared to the 870 Express from a couple years back.

I now want to get the 28" version ....

The 28" versions (one has a wood stock and the other synthetic) are threaded for removable chokes and come with one Modified choke.

From some of the listings:

--------------------------------------------------------------

"Threaded barrel with modified choke"

"- 28” threaded barrel with brass bead sight
- Includes one choke"

--------------------------------------------------------------

The gun is a Chinese Remington 870 clone ...... but I doubt the chokes are RemChokes????

I got the 28 inch. 15 rounds through it. So far I'm impressed for a sub $300 gun.
It is threaded and I'm looking for something to tighten up the pattern a bit.
I'll edit with more; nfo

The 28" Blue Line shotguns use a Browning Invector/Mossberg/Win pattern choke. The 18.5" Blue Lines are plain cylinder choke but aren't threaded for screw in chokes, as you mentioned.

I am a fan of these shotguns, I have an older H&R Pardner Pump and one of the newer 18.5" Blue Line shotguns. Both are made or at least distributed by Hawk Industries in Heilongjiang China. Very inexpensive and very well made. The barrels interchange no problem.

One thing I am curious about is if the 28" Blue Line shotguns are drilled and tapped? Anyone know? The old H&R Pardner Pump is.

The barrel is threaded but no optic mounting holes drilled
