Blue wonder any good?

Got a few spots that need touching up on a rifle i acquired and i'm looking for a suitable cold blue for the purpose. Not worth stripping down and paying for a complete hot tank job.Ideally i would love to go with brownell's oxpho blue but it is nearly impossible to get in Canada now. What about g96 creme?Thanks

I read a lot of positive reports about Blue Wonder however that was about ten years ago.

Blue Wonder is a coating system, not really a chemical blue. It can look great but is a bit less durable. You can, however, get just about any shade of blue/black by putting on more coats. Matching a finish for "spot bluing" is much easier than using real bluing solutions. It works for some things and is bad for others, like just about every other product out there.

I like their cleaning and blue removal solutions, they prepare metal very well for touch ups with more traditional products.
