Match was held in Wilmore Kentucky...
One day... Nine action packed stages. Mostly steel.

YouTube search "2017 bluegrass shotgun championship" for a better idea... Some shooters have posted video of their stages..

7.62mm,

Quick question,
How much of your success in this match would you attribute to your gear vs your skill?

I've heard stories that the shotgun you used for this match was pretty sweet.

7.62 is too modest to say it was his skilz... But the shotgun was borrowed so make your own conclusion.

Here's a vid a shooter from another squad posted... 18 rounds of slugs

Yes. Despite the fact that the shotgun in question jammed 4 out of the 9 stages, spitting shells out all over the place, i managed to prevail.

Also, I think there was some kind of conspiracy going on. I see now that the person who loaned me the gun, is now shooting in Pump division for the next OAS match. He seemed to take pleasure in me shooting that abomination! I went to the hospital and got all the burns from the barrel, and the cuts from the handguard.....with it sharkskin like texture it tore my hand to pieces, repaired. Didn't want to hold up my car sharing partners up at an American Hospital, so had to suffer the entire 8 hr ride home with my hand in this condition!

Are you being honest about how your hand ended up in that condition...?
'Hotel had pay per view IIRC...

This is clearly a case of user error
I'm surprised you can tie your own shoes let alone win shotgun matches with your painfully obvious lack of coordination.

Hopefully the sight of the "abomination" at the next match doesn't give you PTSD.
It won't feel as good if I beat you due to mental stress.
