Blueing vs other coatings

Just looking for other opinions on blued vs other options. I have a couple guns that I have redone the wood on and they look great, thinking now if I should get them reblued or just armacoat or duracoat. can't imagine I would get the money out of reblueing if I sold later. Not high end guns savage 99 and a remmington 1100 trap . Lets face it a nice blued gun looks great but coating is so practical and basicly thats the kind of guy I am. So lets hear some other opinions cus CGN opinions are where it's at.

blued is classier, but I think duracoat would be more effective at preventing rust, and probably cheaper

Where do you even get duracoat?
The site says they won't ship up here

Rust black them yourself. Easy to do and cheap, just very labour intensive. I have found the rust blacked finish to be much more rust resistant than hot blue. It will not be high gloss, but then I do not like high gloss. I made my own solution, but it can be purchased from brownells, just do a search on CGN, there were a number of threads that have detailed the process, materials, problems, FAQ's, etc.

Perfect finish for the two guns you mentioned.
