Bluing Salts, Where to Buy?

your going to have trouble finding it ! also shipping from states also involves hazmat fee's ( so a little salt gets pricey )
call a Houghton distributor in toronto.. they don't advertise the salts but i'm very sure they sell it and set up big companies with low temp heat treating salts ( which is what industry uses low temp salts for ... bluing salts are pretty much similar in chem.. )
you should also know what the exact chem is of the blue salts you want .. it varies ALOT !
oh.. and one last bit... they'd probably only sell it to you in quantity ... eg 400lbs drum ..
so far as i know there really isn't much out there in small amounts other than what brownells sells ... I've been looking for low temp heat treat salts for a long time ... !

If you want Brownell's salts you should plan a trip across the border. Make a holiday of it. Have the salts shipped to a UPS close to the border and pick them up on the way home. I have done that various times with stuff from the US that costs way too much to ship across the border.
