Good day,

Does anyone have any links or know of anyone who re-blues guns? I want to restore a Lee Enfiled no.1 MkII rifle. I want to have a "black oxide" process done, and not cold bluing.

What about getting it parkerized ? I had my rem 760 done here in Petawawa and I liked the way it came out . Lots of places do that I bet ..did you try Ellwoods ?
 
I don't think parkerizing would give me the traditional look I would want. I would have to see if anyone has done it with their LE rifles, and see how it looks.
 
I had an old 870 Mag blued by Frontier Gun and Sport in Fonthill and am very happy with the results. Very deep blue almost black. He also bead blasted the top of the receiver to reduce glare, looks awesome. I'd definitely get another gun blued there.
