I would suspect North African, maybe into Turkey.
Probably not as old as it appears to be. May be a real gun, may be something made for the tourist trade. Barrel looks as if it had a funnel added to it to produce the flair.
I would side with Tiriaq on the origin; maybe India. The muzzle is strange and makes me wonder if the barrel was modified from some sort of musket barrel. The lock is called a miquelet lock with the mainspring on the outside and more importantly with the sear acting horizontally on the #### rather than acting vertically and internally on the tumbler. I would guess its value around $200. One from northern Europe in better condition would be $1500 or more by comparison
