So my new Glock Sub 2000 arrived today. Without having been to the range yet I have to say that I'm quite pleased with my initial impression. Overall it seems better made than I expected although the grip is pretty cheesy....feels like a dollar store water pistol. I really wish they'd spent a few extra bucks there...... maybe a slip on rubber grip? Anyone know what will fit?

My second question is about mags. Mine came with only one Glock branded 10 rounder (although I thought they said it came with two....anyone know? There is an empty cut out in the cardboard inside that looks like it should have had a spare mag in it). Will the KCI 10/17's work or should I stick with Glock?

edit

Some Google results suggest Hougue Handall, others say Hougue handall Jr. Anyone have experience with those?

^^ Thanks

Does anyone know if these are supposed to come standard with one or two mags? Mine only had one but I think (but am not sure) they mentioned "two mags" on the phone.............. and the box had an empty cut out that looks like it is for a spare mag.

That thought actually crossed my mind :d

So, after a year, what's your take on this gun?

Nothing much to complaint, a lots of review about safety and many plastic on this gun but I'm aware of that when I order. More than that, this rifle is a great plinker, share same magazines as my Glock and I have plenty of those.

My safety wasn't working good since day one so I disable it so it always off. I did upgrade with some tacticool products. That's pretty much all.

I have hard time to cheek weld this rifle so hit target at 25 yard and 50 yard is piece of cake.

Pretty sure they all only come with 1 mag. Mine did, when I got it from Lanz Shooting Supplies 3 years ago.

Well, I had a brief range visit today. This is not a great gun for a left handed shooter. The ejection port is so close to your face that you get a blast of hot gases on each shot. I could actually feel the sting. I got unexpectedly paged away before I had time to shoot more than one mag but it seemed to work fine other than that. I'll have to think about it a bit but it looks right now like this gun may be EE bound. :(
